Sally, Daisy and I met a few guys in the local pub a few weeks back. It seems they played for the local football team, I know of the team but don’t follow there results too keenly. Anyway it seemed they had a big match on Saturday to decide if they would become league champions, we were invited to go along to it. The kick-off was 3pm so we duly went along to watch. The final score was 2-0 to our team but it seemed they had to wait on the score from their rivals to see if they would win the league and get promoted.
